Who can be Affirming? Any ministry in the United Church of Canada (and beyond!) which has completed the Affirming process, held a public celebration, and committed itself to ongoing action. Our list of Affirming Ministries is constantly growing. It’s divided into 4 categories; the category of “Communities of Faith” (local churches- formerly “congregations”) has been divided by provinces and territories.
